 A great choice for adding an ornamental grass to a part-shade area in the garden. A versatile grass that can be used in a garden bed, boarder, cottage and city gardens, wetland areas, and also containers. A tufted, clump forming low and dense tussock of narrow, dark green leaves up to 18" tall. A cool-season grass, that may be semi-evergreen.

During summer months, clouds of feathery panicles of green, purple, to a tawny tone emerge on arching stems rising to 3' tall above the foliage. Deer resistant and prefers well-drained organic rich soil with medium moisture.
