SunFern™ Arcadia is a drought-tolerant cultivar of Artemisia gmelinii, a plant with feathery, fern-like foliage, originally native to East Asia. The SunFern™ Arcadia cultivar was developed to produce fern-like foliage from a plant that thrives in full sun while maintaining a non-invasive habit. SunFern™ grows to 14-16" in height and about as wide, making it a great addition to containers and small spaces, but also as an accent plant in a variety of garden types due to its wide tolerance of environmental conditions and fragrant leaves.

This cultivar thrives in full-sun conditions with well drained soil, but it can also tolerate part shade conditions as well as drought. Unlike true ferns, this Artemisia gmelinii cultivar also produces fine yellow flowers in late summer, adding further interest to its already unique foliage. This cultivar is deer and rabbit resistant, low maintenance, and works well in a variety of locations and uses.
