Phlox divaricata 'May Breeze' is an attractive, compact cultivar of woodland phlox perfect for shady areas and small raised beds. Noted for its showy, fragrant, powder blue flowers in the spring, 'May Breeze' grows to a mature height of only 12-15" and performs best in part to full-shade locations. Easily naturalized in woodland gardens, low maintenance, and highly attractive to wide variety of pollinators and hummingbirds, this woodland phlox selection is a great choice to add attractive powder blue hues to the home garden.

Phlox divaricata 'May Breeze' grows best in moist but well-drained conditions, and is resistant to deer grazing and high amounts of shade. As an added bonus, rosettes of low-growing leaves are semi-evergreen, and add winter interest in milder climates.
