Hibiscus syriacus Blue Chiffon® is a striking addition to the Chiffon® Rose of Sharon series by Proven Winners, characterized by their semi-doubled flowers. The 'Blue' cultivar, adds outstanding garden excitement with vigorous growth, and lacy blooms in a beautiful shade of blue-purple that gardeners will find bold yet delicate; blooms are highly attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.

Flowering through the entire summer and into early fall, Blue Chiffon® reaches a mature height of 8-12' tall with a graceful, rounded habit that makes it ideal for hedges, specimen planting, screening in porches or patios, and even in large containers. This cultivar prefers full sun and average, well-draining soils, but will perform best with occasional fertilizer and cutting back to produce more flowers on new wood. With bold, nearly seedless flowers and the added benefits of salt, drought, and deer resistance, Blue Chiffon® is an excellent addition to the home garden however it's used.

Marylanders Plant Trees

From the Maryland Department of Natural Resources:

"We launched Marylanders Plant Trees in 2009 to encourage citizens and organizations to partner with the State to plant new trees. Today, citizens can still take advantage of our coupon program to receive $25 off the purchase of a native tree at 86 participating nurseries across the State. The State cost of $20 per coupon is funded through a settlement from a major power generator for Clean Air Act violations, in partnership with the Office of the Attorney General, and Maryland’s participating tree vendors are generously absorbing the remaining $5.

Trees must be planted in the state of Maryland to qualify for $25 off coupon.
Wholesale customers do not qualify.
