Aster x 'Wood's Purple' is a hybrid dwarf cultivar of Aster noted for its brilliant purple late season blooms, which attract both birds and butterflies as well as other pollinators; asters are capable of widespread cross-pollination and hybridizing, and 'Wood's Purple' will make a great addition to any space with or without other asters. Blooming between August and September, this hearty aster grows to 12-18" tall and thrives in both full sun and partial shade.
